"Extending the craft of couture beyond the body. Here, textile and structure evolve into interactive objects. Designed not just to be worn, but to be experienced within the quiet walls of the museum and gallery."

INSTALLATIONS

BEYOND THE BODY

Where fashion meets art. A curated showcase of creative milestones, cultural research, and the continuous question that drives our craftsmanship: What if?

The links below showcase selected exhibitions spanning both large-scale spatial tactile installations and traditional gallery presentations. This overview highlights how Winklaar’s artistic vision seamlessly translates from immersive, central environments to classic exhibition formats.

COUTURE INSTALLIATION

Trancending the atelier, fashion becomes a dialogue with space. Michelangelo Winklaar's installations serve a dual purpose: to blur the line between couture and art, and to invite you into the intimate anatomy of traditional tailoring. It is an exploration that has evolved into a lifelong project.

TACTILE FASHION EXHIBITION

Winklaar’s Tactile Fashion Looking with your hands/Kijken met je handen is a bold invitation to embrace inclusivity and break down the barriers that often keep art hidden from those less inclined to wander through museum halls. Here, the collection transcends traditional boundaries. Inviting not only the blind and visually impaired to experience its beauty, but also lighting the path for sighted visitors to encounter fashion in a profound and transformative manner.

By creating a unique opportunity for sight and sensation to intertwine, the exhibition allows all to explore the vibrant world of fashion anew, while introducing a completely different approach to art in general, and couture in particular.

INSTITUTIONAL INQUIRIES

By collaborating with institutions to integrate sensory artistry, Tactile Fashion Exhibition by Michelangelo Winklaar introduces a limited series of tactile installations and specialized discourse into curated environments. Our work bridges high-end couture craftsmanship with spatial philosophy, offering museum and galleries a rare sensory anchor for their audiences.
